Trick-or-Treat 09

We took the girls trick-or-treating in our neighborhood this year with our new friends who have two kids very close in age to our two girls. Here are the two ADORABLE fairies getting ready to "fly" from house to house... We were able to get three out of the four kids to sit and smile for a few pre-trick-or-treating photos but that fourth child was such a stubborn little Kalle Bug! Whose kid is that anyways??We left Jason home to pass out candy so all four of the parents were all able to walk around with the kiddos :) Chris even got back into costume as Captain Jack Sparrow (see previous post) doesn't he look awesome?? What a cool dad :-) The best part was that when Sophie showed up wearing a "Rosetta" costume (who apparently is Tinker Bell's fairy friend) and Jada and Sophie had practically the exact same costume just different colors! I was so glad that one wasn't more elaborate than the other (both were Wal-Mart purchases) because then the girls were just excited to both be fairy friends and weren't whining about their lack of extravagance! And quite frankly, they both were SUPER STINKING CUTE!!!Fairies in flight...Kalle Bug just wanted one piece of candy to eat immediately as she was walking between houses. Almost always she managed to get a sugary, sticky, gross sucker which she would slobber all over her hair and costume and then inevitably drop into the dirt. Ew.Then she resulted to this...Here are the girls ambushing an unsuspecting neighbor...notice Kalle pulling the door handle open herself?Kalle and MJ spent a lot of time getting in and out of the wagon...Kalle even fell on her head and had quite a large goose-egg for awhile. Ahhhh...at least there was plenty'o'candy to numb the pain:-) Who doesn't love this holiday?
