Christopher is so wonderful. He worked extremely hard last year and finished as one of the top 5 salesmen in his company!!! He was recognized at his national meeting in January and then in March his company sent the two of us on a four night trip to an all inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico!
We stayed at the Le Blanc Spa & Resort - our third trip to Cancun together but our first time ever at an all inclusive resort. It was like being on a cruise ship on land! Everyone was so worried about us going to Mexico because it was exactly when there were so many kidnappings of Americans there. Fortunately, Chris speaks excellent Spanish and we never really needed to leave our resort!
The whole hotel was a like an enormous spa - very tranquil and relaxing. Complete with 5 different fantastic restaurants, three infinity pools and a huge hot tub.
Our room was enormous and had a huge double jacuzzi tub right next to our balcony looking out over the ocean! The color of the water and the beach in Cancun is indescribable. Simply breathtaking.

Since no trip can be perfect - I was up one whole night sick with some sort of weird Mexican bacteria - yuck. And a different night Chris had the WORST allergic reaction to a nut he has every had in his entire life! It was horrific and ridiculously scary. Really, he pretty much almost died.
But we still had an amazing trip. It was nice to be away from children (no kids under 18 were allowed at the resort at all) but we did miss our sweet girls! Well, kind of ;-) Thanks Honey! You are the BEST!!! Where are we going next year??? heheh ;)

That looks amazing. We went to Cancun for our honeymoon and loved every minute. It was all inclusive and I thought it was totally the way to go. I'm totally jealous(not including the sickness and near death experience).
These pictures are INCREDIBLE! Right out of a travel brochure. It really looks fantastic, and like everyone else, I'm jealous!
