husband tagged - Christopher

So I think that we have all been tagged about a dozen times each but I have never filled one out. Mostly because I thought they were dumb. Hehe. But actually, I have really enjoyed reading some of my friend's "tags" lately (especially Whitney who always seems to be "tagged" by someone and who is always so hilarious). Well - here it goes...

5 quirky things about Chris...
1. he's never had a cast
2. he's practically blind in his left eye
3. he grows little to no hair on the right side of his face
4. he naturally has humongous calf muscles and enormous thighs!
5. he is allergic to nuts, but only tree nuts like almonds, walnuts etc - not peanuts because peanuts are not actually nuts - they are legumes! So Chris can eat peanut butter! Whew!

5 Places Chris has lived...
1. Ballston Spa, New York
2. Provo, Utah
3. Northern Peru
4. Cumming & Duluth, Georgia
5. Weston & Coral Springs, Florida

5 Things you may not know about Chris...
1. he is kind of a marshmallow. Like when Jada sang her solo in church, Chris just cried his eyes out! Ha! (I love it. He is adorable.)

2. though he grew up just a few hours from New York City - he has never seen a show on Broadway! (or been to the Macy's Parade, or been ice skating in the Rockefeller rink, or seen the ball drop on Times Square...) Incredible.

3. he is a terrific ice skater. He played a little ice hockey growing up and can literally skate circles around me, which I guess isn't saying too much, but really he has got skills!

4. Chris is a fantastic speaker. Not only does he enjoy public speaking, but he is great at it. He is funny and light-hearted and really connects with all kinds of people. He has an amazing ability to get even complicated messages across in an entertaining way :)

5. he has spent multiple Christmas Eve's in the ER. And all for the same reason - asthma. For some reason the cold, the Christmas tree, a cat of some sort, the old, dusty ornaments or just the sheer excitement of Christmas constricts his airways almost without fail on Christmas Eve. His poor mother has spent many long nights with him waiting to get oxygen. This past Christmas we were here in Florida and it was really warm and we do not have a cat, we had no old ornaments and we had a fake tree and voila! No asthma attack! I guess thats why we live in Florida now...

5 Foods Chris Enjoys...
1. meat - ribs, skirt steak, lamb, etc.
2. bang bang shrimp from Bonefish
3. apple pie or any fruity pie really
4. seafood
5. anything grilled - artichokes, asparagus, fish, meat, chicken, burgers, hot dogs...

5 Things Chris Loves...
1. Boating - driving the boat, water skiing, just being outside in the sun on the lake
2. BYU football - Chris is THE BIGGEST fan there is. Period.
3. playing football - though he doesn't really ever get too any more
4. drumming - he is getting really good
5. entertaining - he is a fabulous host and he loves cooking for people, touring around Florida and he loves making people laugh - especially his wife and his girls :-)
But most importantly, Chris loves his family (all of them) and our church - The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Of course Chris isn't allergic to peanuts! My college roomie Kim wouldn't have married anyone who coudln't handle her nasty oil on top, need to be stirred peanut butter. I mean, mmmm.....sounds good.
