Accident

On our way home from Lion Country Safari we were rear-ended by this big pick-up truck which drove us forward into the back of an old vintage beamer. We waited in the heat on the side of the road for over an hour and a half before we finally got a police officer to come. Long story - but we are all recovering fine now with neck and back pain. My girls are just fine thanks to their five-point harness system car seats.

We were all treated by paramedics at the scene, but my mom was back boarded and taken by rescue to the hospital.

We ended up feeling so fortunate because the hospital that we went to had this awesome Pediatrics ER. They rushed us in because of the girls and had toys and small sized scales and beds and tvs in the rooms. Too bad this hospital is much too far for us to go to for our next emergency!

It was a really, really long horrible afternoon. At least its over!

P.S. the BMW we were forced into was being driven by Sylvester Stallone's step-mom (she is young and glamorous) and his teen-aged half-brother was in the car too!
