We started the "Best Summer Ever" by driving up to Hilton Head and spending a few days with Christopher's family. They were vacationing at a timeshare for a week and were just dying for our girls to be there to play with them on the beach. So we surprised them and showed up! Luckily there was plenty of room for us and the complex had the best pool ever! Which was amazing because for some reason no one in Chris' family really likes the beach except for his mom, so she and I spent a few afternoons alone on the beach...it was heavenly. Pretty much the only day everyone played on the beach was the first day we were there and we did have fun until Chris, Lindsay and I got stung by a jelly fish and Steve gashed his forehead trying to body surf and we saw a huge sting ray and a guy fishing next to us who caught a baby shark. Awesome.
