A short visit but a big change...

Christopher's father flew into town on Thursday and wasn't even here for 24 hours! He was so excited to see his granddaughters and immediately upon his arrival took Jada to Baskin Robbins for some "quality grampa time." Notice the mint choc chip on her shirt? So when they got back, Kalle had to try really hard to get her grandpa's attention. We loved getting to see him, even if it was just for a few short hours. And when her little tricks still didn't outshine Jada's dominant personality - she just literally jumped across Jada to get into her grandpa's lap. See Jada's little hand pushing Kalle's neck? Sneaky, competitive sisters already!
Though the girls are reason enough to make a short trip to Florida, Christopher's dad was really here for a different reason...to ordain Chris to the High Priesthood. Chris was just announced yesterday as the newest member of our stake high council. He was sad to be released from his calling as stake young men's president but excited for this new opportunity. Yes, he is very young (just barely 28), but I'm sure that the Lord knows what he is doing - even if the rest of us are scratching our heads :-) hehe. Love you honey!

That last picture of your girls climbing on their grandpa cracks me up. I feel like I'm looking at a picture of my girls. Josie will do the same thing to Tallulah, try and "secretly" push her out of the way of things. They're such sister! What will our girls be like as teenagers??? Yikes!!!
